Hi Everyone,

WELCOME TO December/January!

Can you hear the clock ticking? The holidays and a new year are knocking at the door. This year has been tough in a lot of areas for me, so I'm looking forward to a new year and a new start. One big Christmas wish for me is to find that missing creative mojo! I also want to do a lot more pages for myself in addition to the designing.

Great layouts in response to last challenge! This is such a fun challenge to run, everyone is so creative and I love all the different takes on the layouts each month.

This time I chose Merry-Christmas-Miles by the51mom. I love her photo placement and the clustering of lots of elements! And of course I love that she used my Retro Christmas kit to do the layout. Lots of inspiration here!

You can find this layout here. You can also find her gallery here. Be sure and check out her gallery for one beautiful layout after another. I sure hope you'll stop by and leave her some love.

I hope you can find some inspiration in this layout to scraplift. Be sure to include at least three items by Digitals designers in your layout to be eligible for the prize.

When you've completed your layout, post it to the Scraplift Gallery, then come back and post a link to your page to this thread. This gives us all a chance to oooh and aaah over your layout. It will also help me to make sure that I don't miss sending out anyone's posting bonus.

Here is a preview of your prize this month.

I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas or whatever other holiday you celebrate during this season. Also, a very healthy and prosperous New Year! I want to thank every one of you who participate each time, I enjoy seeing what you do with the challenges.

Have fun and I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge!

p.s..... Keep your eyes open, I am (along with a number of other designers) retiring some of my products from the store. They are discounted at a great value and will be discontinued January 1st. Don't forget to pick up any that you are interested in before they are gone. Happy Shopping!

Hi Everyone,

WELCOME TO August/September!

WOW, time flies! I can't believe it's time to post a new challenge. The summer here has been very busy and doesn't show any signs of letting up as college starts the end of this month. I'm trying to figure out how my son jumped from Kindergarten to college in a blink because that's how it feels. I apologize I've been sort of absent from the challenge, hopefully I'll keep up with it better this time around. I've been searching all over and can't seem to find my creative mojo. If anyone has seen it, I'd love to have it back.

Great layouts in response to last challenge! This is such a fun challenge to run, everyone is so creative and I love all the different takes on the layouts each month.

This time I chose Hot Fun by Julie. I love circles and I especially love all the layers and repeating elements she used. Of course I love that she used one of my kits and how well it coordinated with her photo.

I have to give a huge thanks to Barbara Speck Designs for your prize this month. Due to my missing creative mojo, I didn't make a mini this time around.

WELCOME TO April/May!

Is it spring where you are yet? We are struggling to find it here, winter just does not want to give up. Fortunately we did not wake up to snow this morning as predicted, instead just a cold "thick" rain (meaning big fat rain drops with some flakes mixed in here and there). Regardless, the spring bulbs are starting to make an appearance and I believe the daffodils will bloom in the next days. Come on Spring!!

Great layouts in response to last challenge! This is such a fun challenge to run, everyone is so creative and I love all the different takes on the layouts each month.

This time I chose Sweet Sixteen by Maggie965.

With my son's senior prom coming up, this layout is perfect to scraplift and showcase some of the pictures. And yes, it may look familiar because this is actually her take on the last Scraplift. I love the way she turned it to suit her photos an ended up with a different and unique take on the last challenge. SO, even though it's a scraplift of a scraplife, I think it's just perfect for this month. The black background and vibrant colors are stunning. LOVE it! Tons of inspiration here (color, layout, theme ... possibilies are endless)!

WELCOME TO APRIL!

I am thrilled that Spring is starting show a little around here. It was a long winter and I'm so happy to see the Daffodils starting to show their colors. We should have some leaves on the trees and more flowers coming in the next few weeks. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year!

Great layouts in response to last months challenge! This is such a fun challenge to run, everyone is so creative and I love all the different takes on the layouts each month.

I found a fun layout for the scraplift this month. I don't know about you, but I pick up things everywhere we go to add to my scrapbook pages. Whether a brochure, ticket stubs, drink coasters, matchbooks, napkins, you name it and it comes home with me. I'm famous for coming home from vacation with a bag full of goodies to remember our trips. That being said, when I saw this layout it reminded me of something I would do. This month I chose Bubba Gump Shrimp by Alejas. I love that she used the Restaurant logo as part of her layout. I think I have a matching coaster from them that I could use in a hybrid page or scan in for digital. I might just have to dig out my coaster and photos and do my own layout. So, will you choose to use something from a place you've visited for your layout? There is loads of inspiration here!

You can find this layout here. You can also find her gallery here. She has some gorgeous layouts, be sure to stop by and leave her some love.

I went searching for something fun for this month and found one that was done with one of my kits (which always makes me smile!). This month I chose a layout entitled "Lauren and Max" by scrappyangel. I love the fun movement of the layout and the great use of the one photo cut in strips. The one photo reaching out of the frame is always inspiring. Loads of inspiration here!

I loved the layout I picked for the scraplift so much this month that I decided to do it myself and modify it for Don's wallpaper for May. My two trees they gave me for Mother's Day last year are blooming right now. They are absolutely gorgeous! I love spring and all the beautiful flowers!

I love the focus on the large photo with the smaller photos on the side telling more of the story. Also the use and layering of different elements just bring it all together. I can see so many options for a scraplift on this one.

Happy Humpy Day ~ April Fools Day

Where has time gone???? I can't believe it's the first day of April already.

I actually got April's wallpaper done on the first day of the month this time. I ended up so far behind in March that I gave up and never did one. The paper and elements in the one are from a new kit I've been playing around with. Still not feeling very creative so we'll see how it goes. The photos are from a huge tree we saw at the Brandywine Creek Battlefield we visited when we were in Delaware for tournament. Even the photos don't do justice to how huge this tree was.

I just finished posting the Scraplift Challenge for April @ Digitals. Check it out here. Participating in the challenges @ Digitals is a great way to earn pieces of the mega kit each month. Here is my piece of the kit which you earn by completing the scraplift challenge.

I hope that you will come participate. Have a great day!

----------------

First I want to thank those of you who are loyal followers of this challenge every month. This is a fantastic challenge to run! I just announced that I'm now going to sell exclusively at Digitals, so I hope to be around a lot more and get to know you all better.

Great job to everyone who participated in last month's challenge. I appreciate the great response even though I posted it terribly late. I really enjoy seeing the layouts from this challenge each month.

This month I chose a layout by dorannmwin entitled "Swimming". I love the full width photo as such a major focus, yet she managed to get good journaling, a fantastic title and nice elements into the page. Of course I'm partial to the kit since she chose one of mine for the layout! It reminds me a favorite layout of mine that I did as a photo swap challenge a couple of years ago. I'm going to have to try my hand at this challenge this month!

You can find this layout here. You can also find dorannmwin's gallery here. She has some gorgeous layouts in her gallery!
