Saturday blues ....

Day started out pretty good, but seemed to disintigrate on me. Why don't people realize that words can be the most hurtful weapon? Do I not have feelings, do I not get my feelings hurt when yelled at or belittled for something that's not really that important? I'm not perfect, never will be.... but I certainly try to take other people's feelings into consideration and treat them with respect and how I would want to be treated. Especially with those I love most.

This too shall pass.......... once my hurt feelings subside.

Trying hard not to sweat the small stuff.

Whew, it's been a busy week! It's raining cats and dogs here this morning, but it's good for the plants so I'm not really complaining except for the bad hair day part of it. This is when I really wish I could work from home.

I'm happy to report that the garden is in and all flowers and bulbs have been planted. I still have a little weeding to do here and there and I need to get some mulch for a couple of my flower beds and around the new trees. Our garden this year has tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers (green, orange and red), green beans, jalepeno peppers, celery and basil. Mmmm I can't wait for the wonderful fresh veggies. Hubby does such a great job with our vegetable garden and our plants always get much bigger than we anticipate each year. Here's a picture of Ollie standing next to our tomatoes last year about 1/2 through the season, so needless to say they ended up being even taller!

Been working on TSG's June Club Kit with DeDe this week. Trying to catch up on some obligation stuff and still get working on something for June's Box of Dreams crop. The month is flying by on me! I would love to have more time to design, but I'll take and enjoy whatever time I can get.

Not much else going on. Ollie has a game on Saturday, clinic on Sunday morning and a game Sunday afternoon.

I'm going to try to get back here and post again, but just in case ... I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hope everyone is having a fantastic Friday. Even though it's raining here, I'm having a pretty good day and happy it's the weekend. Besides, Mother Nature is giving all the pretty trees and flowers a good drink of water. Of course I'm hearing that she might be overwatering us with at least 2 inches. Busy weekend ... Hubby has to work part of Saturday and Ollie has a game in the late afternoon. Sunday he has clinic in the morning and a game in the afternoon.

Seriously!

Where did this week go? How can it possibly be Thursday already? It's been crazy busy at work and I guess the week is just flying by and I feel so far behind in everything right now.

Here are pictures I took of the two new trees and of the hockey statue with the azaleas starting to bloom. It's been raining this morning so everything is getting a good drink from Mother Nature. I still have quite bit of gardening stuff to get done, but I'm getting there. Inside the house is a totally different story though!

Which version of each photo do you like better? I've been playing around with some photo editing.

Need to make a new to do list and see what needs to be tackled first. Need some serious design time to play.
