Exclusive @ Digitals!!!

I'm happy to announce that tomorrow all my designs will be exclusive with Digitals!

I'm sad to be leaving TSG, however I just cannot handle the work it takes to be in multiple stores right now. It takes away too much time from my family and design time. The ladies at TSG are awesome and I'm going to miss being a part of the team there. Of course that means I'll be suspending my Box of Dreams Crop and Challenges for now, but if I can organize myself properly I will continue them in the future at Digitals.

I'm excited about being exclusive at Digitals. The management is incredible (LOVE Stacey & Rick!) and everything is so well run. The Design Team and Other Teams there are absolutely wonderful too! Did you know there is a quality check team at Digitals that pulls kits for quaility checks on a regular basis? I love knowing that we are putting out good quality designs there.

So, I'm feeling really good about my decision on this right now. I'm hoping it will give me a chance to be more a part of things in the forum and gallery. AND give me a little more time to design and do some of my own scrapbook pages.

I hope you'll join me each month for the Scraplift challenge. Tomorrow will start a new one. I'll post the information about it here on my blog too.

So, that's my big design news. I hope I'll see you in the forum and gallery as well as here on my blog. I always welcome comments and communication!

Hugs!

Thursday ....

I'll be back later today with some news about my designs, in the meantime here is a layout that I put together with the F from my Dream Your Own Monogram for School. I'm still working on the elements for it. Got quite a bit done yesteday but hit a brain block on what else I want to add to the kit.

Hard to believe that a month from now he'll be starting his Sophomore year! Where did the time go, when did I get so short and what happened to that little boy I used to have????????

I don't wanna grow up! LOL

Thank you!

Thank you to everyone who left me really sweet comments on my blog and the 4shared downloads for the blog train! It was fun to see some of the same faces each day and that you took the time out to visit my stop and leave me some love. Thank you!

It's been a crazy couple of weeks for me. Behind the scenes of the blog train I've been running around like a crazy woman trying to keep things together. Our server started to die at work and we now have a brand new one and the swap over was tough. I think we are pretty much back on track now, but not what I needed when trying to catch up from being on vacation. Ollie was in hockey camp this past week, so I was up at 5:00 a.m. each morning and had to have everything done and be out the door with him by 7:30 at the latest. Coach brought him back to the shop each day around 1:00 and he had to wait until around 2:45 for me to come and get him after work. Monday he had to come back to work with me and we didn't get out of there until after 7:00 p.m. because of the server upload. So it was a week of a new server, hockey camp, 2 nights of hockey clinic and a lot of craziness. I think we'll be glad for a "normal" week this week.... whatever normal is! LOL

The new stove is working great. I've made two batches of cookies. Woo hoo with convection I can do three pans of cookies at once. Hubby bought me new cookie sheets ... I found some like my old favorite ones. Wow the cookies don't stick to the new ones. Guess I've really worn the old ones out. I've also made a couple of peach cobblers and quite a few dinners. Still getting used to the stove top burners (different sizes, etc.), but I've got the oven down. I used the convection roast for some small red potatoes the other night. WOW did they turn out yummy.

I'm replacing my sampler at Digitals sometime in the next day or so. It's zipped and ready to go, I just need to upload to the store and have Stacey swap it over. This one coordinates with my Fresh Meadow kit. I need to zip up the entire Retro Christmas Cosmo Cricket Jack Album and get that in the store too. I have a Dream Your Own Monogram for School set in the works and hope to complete it soon. Other than that, I need to get going on some kits.

I did finish my piece for the August challenges as Digitals. Since I host the Scraplift Challenge, I get to give my own piece away each month. I'm super happy with what I just finished. We did a bithday kit and it's really great. If you participate in all the challenges you come out with a huge coordinating mega kit. It's a great deal!

Not much scrapping going on and I'm feeling the need to take some time and scrap. I did go ahead and do the August wallpaper for hubby. We are going to the Boston area for Labor Day weekend and he wanted something about Boston. Here's what I came up with this morning.
I used the bulletin board from my Class Act kit, star brads, ribbon and staples from Freedom Rings. The pennant and calendar are new pieces that don't have a kit at the moment.
Ok, Ollie is hungry. Better round up hubby and head out for a late lunch/early dinner. Maybe I'll get some scrap and/or design time in this evening. Think I'll leave my portable drive to do a back up while we run out.
Hugs!

Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 12

It's Day 12 of the Polar Express Blog Train! I can't believe that our journey is over. I hope you will continue to visit my blog on a regular basis. I have some big news coming very soon about my stores and where my designs will be. I do want to give a very sincere thank you to every one of you who took time to leave a comment and thank you on my blog. It's nice to know other people enjoy my work.

Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 11

It's Day 11 of the Polar Express Blog Train! I can't believe we are almost at the end of our trip.

Don't forget that Dreamy was in here the other day being mischevious and handing out coupons! Hope you enjoy the extra special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

Have you ever needed a special kit and just couldn't find exactly the right one for what you needed. Or have you ever had an idea for a kit and wanted someone who designs to put it together for you? I've enjoyed the opportunity to do two different custom kits for just those type situations. Each one was a prize for a challenge I held and I found out through doing them that I really enjoy doing some custom stuff. Rachel & Friends was for a wonderful lady whose daughter, Rachel, has two best friends that are boys. Of course Rachel likes to be girlie sometimes, but super girlie kits don't work well for the photos of her and her two best friends. Lots of bright colors later, a kit was born for Rachel & Friends. I had so much fun with it that I added the alpha later on. Peggy's Rose was for a wonderful lady (Peggy) who had recently lost her father. One memory of her father was lavendar roses, armed with that image and some ideas from her I was off and running and Peggy's Rose was born. I used a photo of a rose from my garden as the stepping stone. Again, I enjoyed the kit so much that I added an alpha in two colors later on. This kit reminds me a lot of my grandmother and I've used it on several layouts for her 80th birthday party.

Don't forget that these are all on sale for 25% during the Christmas in July event. Coupled with that coupon that Dreamy gave out, you could end up saving 50%!

Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 8

It's Day 8 of the Polar Express Blog Train!

Don't forget that Dreamy was in here the other day being mischevious and handing out coupons! Hope you enjoy the extra special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

Do you like fall themed kits? After the bright and pastel colors of the summer, it's fun to play in the rich colors that the autumn brings. So far I've worked on three fall kits with Orchard Dreams being my favorite. I'm hoping to do a coordinating album for this one. It's a kit that's close to my heart as we go apple picking every year. Mmmm I can almost taste and smell those apple pies now!

Of course they are all on sale for 25% off during our Christmas in July event!

For those of you having problems downloading from 4shared (which does happen sometimes if there are too many people trying to access at once), I have provided an alternate link. I know it's frustrating, but believe me ... it's most frustrating for those of us designing when we put up links that randomly don't work and we don't know why. I have downloaded from both links each day to make sure that I can get them. I am doing this from an alternate computer as an extra check.

I apologize that some of you are still having problems with 4shared, but that is why I have gone the extra step of a totally different service for the alternate link. Please know that I am doing everything I can to make sure everyone gets the freebie at my stop.

Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 7

It's Day 7 of the Polar Express Blog Train!

Don't forget that Dreamy was in here the other day being mischevious and handing out coupons! Hope you enjoy the extra special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

Have you seen my Freedom Rings kit? Freedom Rings with stars and stripes forever in this special patriotic kit! Lots of unique and beautiful embellishments with glitz and glitter and richly textured papers that are perfect for scrapping those 4th of July pictures. Also perfect for summer pictures, vacations, kids, adults and just about any other thing that could use a little red, white and/or blue.

As a perfect accessory is my Freedom Rings Cosmo Cricket Abby Album. I feel in love with this album shape and had so much fun putting it together. I can't wait to add pictures and print out.

Of course they are both on sale for 25% off during our Christmas in July event!

It's Day 5 of the Polar Express Blog Train!

Don't forget that Dreamy was in here the other day being mischevious and handing out coupons! Hope you enjoy the extra special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

So tell me... do you love alphabets? I do, when I first started digi scrapping I collected so many of them. They are great for so many things, kind of like the huge stacks of alpha stickers I used to always make sure I had on hand. I also have quite a collection of Sizzix alpha sets and several different sets of alpha stamps. It didn't surprise me when I started designing that I discoverd that I like making alphabets too!

In addition to my Dream Your Own Monogram series which I showed you the other day, here is what I have in the store right now for alphas. I do enjoy doing them and am willing to take customer requests for them.

Of course they are all on sale for 25% off during our Christmas in July event!

Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 4

It's Day 4 of the Polar Express Blog Train!

I see Dreamy was in here yesterday handing out coupons willy nilly. What a mischevious elf! Hope you enjoy the special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

Have you see my hybrid albums? I've only done two so far (well in addition to the one you are collecting pieces from), but I love doing them and am hoping to do some from existing kits as well as with new kits.

Here you can see my Freedom Rings Cosmo Cricket Abby Album and my Shades of Summer Bright Bracket Album. I think there are so many uses for these albums whether you use them for hybrid or on pages for part of a larger layout. I recently purchased some blank albums and word albums to try my hand a hybrid. I was a paper scrapper before going digital and there was always some sort of digital elements to my paper pages, whether it was titles, labels or journaling. Hmmmm I guess in a way that makes me an OLD hybrid scrapper! LOL

Of course they are all on sale for 25% off during our Christmas in July event!
