It's Day 3 of the Polar Express Blog Train!

Sorry for the delay in opening the station this morning. We had some internet problems, but they are resolved and the station is now open for business. I'll leave today's link up a little longer because of the late opening.

TSG ~ Box of Dreams Challenge ~ June 2008

First things first .... the featured kit for this month is my Shades of Summer Bright which is on sale for only $2 for the month of June.



Also as a bonus, I've put my Dream Your Own Monogram for Summer on sale for only $2 also. This coordinates beautifully with the Shades of Summer Bright kit and gives you all kinds of monogram, alpha and extra elements options. It's kind of like a super special add on kit. :)




Now on to the challenge, this month we are going to do an ad challenge. Here is an ad that I used for inspiration for a layout I did quite a while back.




The rules are simple. You MUST use the featured kit (or the Dream Your Own Monogram for Summer kit) and do a layout inspired by this ad. Your bonus is a fabulous bracket album created with the Shades of Summer kit. I've finished the album and am working on the preview which I will post as soon it's done.

I will have some additional goodies available to you that coordinate with the kit throughout the month. Keep your eyes open for them!

Post your layouts in the Box of Dreams gallery so we can oooohhhh and aaaahhh over them. Be sure to post a link to your layout back in this thread so I make sure to get your bonus out to you.

What a fun week it's been hosting the blog here. I do apologize for not making it in here yesterday, I got swamped at work and then spent the evening straightening out the roster and working on everything for Ollie's spring hockey league. I'm getting the jerseys this afternoon and have to get them organized to hand out at tomorrow's game.

With summer coming, our household is in count down mode for vacation. We are once again going to our favorite beach .... MYRTLE BEACH! As of today, we have 66 days before we leave. The boys started counting back around 145 days till departure. Yes, we make our reservations pretty early! Due to my love of the beach and our vacations at Myrtle Beach, I've already made two summer kits and I'm sure I have more to come. I have tons and tons of pictures from our trips!

My boys ...

Hubby and Ollie from our Hershey trip on Labor Day weekend. They were waiting in line to ride the Comet roller coaster and I got a chance to snap some pictures. I took pictures of them on the ride too, but that's a whole different layout.

Journaling Reads: You are my two favorite boys in the whole wide world! I love our little family more than anything even though we are sometimes“weird”. Who determines what “weird” is anyhow? I wouldn’t trade either one of you or our “weird” little family for anything. Good times and bad, as long as I have the two of you, life is GOOD!

New Monogram Kit ...

Heading into the stores is my new Dream Your Own Monogram for Summer. These monogram kits are FUN FUN FUN to make! This one could be used for so many things, another good thing is that it coordinates with my Shades of Summer Bright kit.

Feeling very behind in some areas, but worked hard yesterday to try and get some handle on things. Weekend is busy, but not too crazy busy. We have errands tonight, Ollie has a game tomorrow evening, one on Sunday afternoon and a practice Sunday evening. Weather here is yucky, cold and a little rainy today. Not very good for getting out and planting yet. Hopefully this weekend I'll get to "play in the dirt". Oh and we do need groceries if we want to continue to eat in my house! LOL
