Digitals Countdown to 2011 Blog Train ~ Day 1

Welcome to Digitals Countdown to 2011 Blog Train! I hope you'll visit me each day through January 1, 2011 for pieces to a new mini kit called Little Bit O' Winter.

I don't know about you, but we had a super busy but spectacular Christmas. I love this time of year, however I'm always glad when the super busy part of it is over. If you have lots of Christmas pictures to scrap, you might want to check out Retro Christmas.

Nope .....

Haven't fallen off the face of the earth, just been super busy with Ollie's 18th birthday, the approaching holiday season and the high school hockey season starting. I have also been working on our family tree which Ollie is very interested in right now. It is a fun and interesting process but very time consuming.

Working on a Christmas kit with DeDe for Sisters by Heart and one from me. Also hoping to revamp my New Years Jewels kit and participate in a holiday blog train at the end of the month.

Did a quick December wallpaper for fun ...

You must have a sense of humor to live in our house! LOL

Birthday Blog Blowout ~ Day 2

Do you love all the different shaped and hybrid albums out right now? I sure love them! They are tons of fun to put together and are so versatile. I love that you can use them for hybrid albums or on a larger scrapbook page. I think I'm going to put together some of my bracket albums on 6x6 or 8x8 pages. I think the bracket frame would look really nice on a coordinating cardstock, or against white to make it really stand out. Anyhow, I have three hybrid albums in the store right now (more to come very soon *hint hint*). They are 30% off this week, so a great deal!

It's Day 12 of the Polar Express Blog Train! I can't believe that our journey is over. I hope you will continue to visit my blog on a regular basis. I chat a lot, but you never know when something special will appear. It's a good way to keep up with what I'm up to in the design world. I have some big news coming very soon about my stores and where my designs will be. Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 11

It's Day 11 of the Polar Express Blog Train! I can't believe we are almost at the end of our trip.

Have you ever needed a special kit and just couldn't find exactly the right one for what you needed. Or have you ever had an idea for a kit and wanted someone who designs to put it together for you? I've enjoyed the opportunity to do two different custom kits for just those type situations. Each one was a prize for a challenge I held and I found out through doing them that I really enjoy doing some custom stuff. Rachel & Friends was for a wonderful lady whose daughter, Rachel, has two best friends that are boys. Of course Rachel likes to be girlie sometimes, but super girlie kits don't work well for the photos of her and her two best friends. Lots of bright colors later, a kit was born for Rachel & Friends. I had so much fun with it that I added the alpha later on. Peggy's Rose was for a wonderful lady (Peggy) who had recently lost her father. One memory of her father was lavendar roses, armed with that image and some ideas from her I was off and running and Peggy's Rose was born. I used a photo of a rose from my garden as the stepping stone. Again, I enjoyed the kit so much that I added an alpha in two colors later on. This kit reminds me a lot of my grandmother and I've used it on several layouts for her 80th birthday party.

Here are three of my smaller kits, but favorites of mine. They can all be used in so many different types of layouts. They have been go to kits when putting together a quick layout. Check out Blue Tranquility, Butterfly Dance and Misty Morning. There are some really unique elements in these that are a must have!
