Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 11

It's Day 11 of the Polar Express Blog Train! I can't believe we are almost at the end of our trip.

Don't forget that Dreamy was in here the other day being mischevious and handing out coupons! Hope you enjoy the extra special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

Have you ever needed a special kit and just couldn't find exactly the right one for what you needed. Or have you ever had an idea for a kit and wanted someone who designs to put it together for you? I've enjoyed the opportunity to do two different custom kits for just those type situations. Each one was a prize for a challenge I held and I found out through doing them that I really enjoy doing some custom stuff. Rachel & Friends was for a wonderful lady whose daughter, Rachel, has two best friends that are boys. Of course Rachel likes to be girlie sometimes, but super girlie kits don't work well for the photos of her and her two best friends. Lots of bright colors later, a kit was born for Rachel & Friends. I had so much fun with it that I added the alpha later on. Peggy's Rose was for a wonderful lady (Peggy) who had recently lost her father. One memory of her father was lavendar roses, armed with that image and some ideas from her I was off and running and Peggy's Rose was born. I used a photo of a rose from my garden as the stepping stone. Again, I enjoyed the kit so much that I added an alpha in two colors later on. This kit reminds me a lot of my grandmother and I've used it on several layouts for her 80th birthday party.

Don't forget that these are all on sale for 25% during the Christmas in July event. Coupled with that coupon that Dreamy gave out, you could end up saving 50%!

Now on to today's offering:

I'm sorry this link has expired, but don't despair ... the entire Retro Christmas Cosmo Cricket Jack Album will be in my store after the Polar Express has made it's final stop.

Polar Express Blog Train ~ Day 5

It's Day 5 of the Polar Express Blog Train!

Don't forget that Dreamy was in here the other day being mischevious and handing out coupons! Hope you enjoy the extra special savings. I do enjoy all the wonderful comments that are being left!

So tell me... do you love alphabets? I do, when I first started digi scrapping I collected so many of them. They are great for so many things, kind of like the huge stacks of alpha stickers I used to always make sure I had on hand. I also have quite a collection of Sizzix alpha sets and several different sets of alpha stamps. It didn't surprise me when I started designing that I discoverd that I like making alphabets too!

In addition to my Dream Your Own Monogram series which I showed you the other day, here is what I have in the store right now for alphas. I do enjoy doing them and am willing to take customer requests for them.

Of course they are all on sale for 25% off during our Christmas in July event!
