December 2009 ~ Scraplift Challenge

Join me at Digitals for this month's scraplift challenge! You can find the thread here.

----------

Great layouts in response to last months challenge! I know this gets to be a hectic time of year with the holidays and all. This is such a fun challenge to run, everyone is so creative and I love all the different takes on the layouts each month.

This month I chose a layout entitled "My creative muse ..." by msghd. I absolutely love everything about this layout. The journaling, the faded photo, multiple photos, fantastic elements.... it goes on and on for me! Lots of inspiration and options here!

You can find this layout here. You can also find her gallery here. She has some gorgeous layouts, be sure to stop by and browse around.

I hope you can find some inspiration in this layout to scraplift. Be sure to include at least three items by Digitals designers in your layout to be eligible for the prize.

When you've completed your layout, post it to the Scraplift Gallery, then come back and post a link to your page to this thread. This gives us all a chance to oooh and aaah over your layout. It will also help me to make sure that I don't miss sending out anyone's posting bonus.

Here is a preview of your prize this month.

Unfortunately, I'm still buried at work because of the one partner being sick and I've had no design time. I'm also struggling for about 9 months now with not feeling creative at all. Sooooooo I'm sad to report that I wasn't able to do the posting bonus this month, however Miss Amanda did some gorgeous papers for you. Again, I feel so blessed to be in company of the wonderful designers here at Digitals.

Have fun and I can't wait to see what you do with this challenge!

... really good news

Ok, so good news is always something to celebrate and post about!

Ollie got his PSAT scores back yesterday and he did fantastic. Scored in the top 91 percentile. We had him test without any of the prep classes or tutoring so we could get a good baseline. WOW, he did great on his own. We will focus on getting a tutor to prep for the SAT in March and then probably a 2nd round in June. Going to bypass January because of the high school hockey season. He's busy enough with all his hard classes and hockey... no need to add a tutor and pressure of testing on top of that.

Nice to have some good news with things the way they've been lately.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy
